I love dolls and masks and puppets in all their variations, which I’ve discussed in this space more than once. I was exploring these on vimeo today and came across this video I’ve seen many times. Particularly enchanting are the shy exchanges between the giant and the little girls to whom she gives a ride on her giant arms. I really love this puppet girl.

I loved seeing the puppet girl – did you see the Elephant one too – it was spectacular. I wish I had seen them in ‘real life’ they are amazing.

Yes, I did see the elephant one too Susannah. Just beautiful. I love your puppets! I made some several years ago too – stick puppets. I’ll try and get pictures posted of them some day.

I saw the girl and the Sultan’s Elephant in London a couple of years ago. Absolutely stunning.
